A Rare 16th Century Florentine Walnut Credenza, ornately carved with a denticulated frieze with three drawers above two rosette medallion doors flanked by pilasters, the whole resting on a stepped plinth raised on conforming bracket feet. Provenance: from the collection of The California Palace of the Legion of Honor Museum, and formerly the property of Mrs. Alma Spreckels, wife and heiress to the fortune of sugar baron Adolph Spreckels
